Metal Posts

Carmo Wood’s metal posts have been designed for use in agricultural trellising (vineyards, olive groves or orchards). Their diverse types of perforations make them adaptable to the differing positioning needs of the wires being trained. The profile was developed to withstand the operation of the grape harvesting machines making them enormously resistant to side winds. They are manufactured from S250 sheet metal, with high mechanical strength. The sheet has an S marking, indicating a guaranteed minimum mechanical strength of 250 Newton per mm2. There are several advantages: less breakage during installation, better wind resistance and greater mechanical strength without losing the necessary flexibility, all with the same thickness and price.
